Panic selling weakens prices at KSE


KARACHI: Panic selling pulled down prices of leading scrips at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) as 100-Index plunged by 118 points to close at 5,455.67 here Tuesday.The turnover volume dropped to 129.573 million shares as price of 210 scrips sustained losses while 70-recorded gains and 13 remained unchanged.A dealer said that the market sentiment was bearish since that start of trading on selling pressure and closed in the negative zone.OGDC was the volume leader with a turnover of 11.163 million shares.
