Japanese PM says won’t leave Pak in testing times


TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso said his country would not leave Pakistan alone in testing times.

During a meeting with Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance & Revenue, Shaukat Tareen, Aso said the government of Japan would continue to support the economic stabilisation and development programme of the government of Pakistan

Meanwhile, a meeting of ‘ Friends of Pakistan’ will be held in Japan in March whereas its working group meeting would be held in Dubai during current month. 

The decision was taken during financial advisor meetings with Japanese officials. Tareen is finalizing the details of meeting of Friends of Pakistan with Japanese finance minister and other high officials.
