Oil mixed in Asian trade

SINGAPORE: Oil prices were mixed on Friday in Asia, with the key New York price falling closer to 40 dollars a barrel in choppy trade. New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, eased 29 cents to 40.88 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for March rose two cents to 46.48 dollars.
